MuslimApp — Privacy Policy
If a future app update changes how data is handled, this page will be updated.
MuslimApp provides prayer times, a Qibla compass, a Tasbeeh counter and a Zakat calculator. It needs no account and works offline. This policy explains what the app uses and stores, and confirms that we don't collect it.
Location
The app uses your device location on your device only, to compute prayer times and the Qibla direction for where you are. Your location is not transmitted, not stored remotely, not sold and not shared with anyone. All calculations happen locally on your device.
Information the app stores on your device
MuslimApp stores the following only on your device, in the app's private local storage:
- Settings and preferences (such as calculation method and reminder choices)
- Counters, such as your Tasbeeh counts
Information we collect
We don't collect, receive, sell or share any personal information. MuslimApp has no user accounts and no analytics or tracking tools. NinjaNext can't see your location, settings or counters.
Notifications
If you turn on prayer reminders, the app schedules notifications locally on your device. No push service is used and nothing is sent off your device. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app's Settings or in your device settings.
Data retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can:
- Reset your settings and counters in the app's Settings
- Clear the app's storage in your device settings
- Uninstall the app, which removes its stored data
Because your data exists only on your device, deleting it is permanent unless your device's own backup includes it. We can't recover it for you.
Children
MuslimApp is intended for general audiences. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, for example because an optional feature is added, we'll update this page and the effective date first, before that version is released.
