One Room Left Privacy Policy
One Room Left is an offline mystery escape game. It needs no account, shows no ads, and works without an internet connection. This policy explains what the game stores and confirms that we don’t collect it.
Information the game stores on your device
To save your progress, One Room Left stores the following only on your device, in a local database (SQLite) inside the app’s private storage:
- Game progress: the chapter you’re playing, items collected, puzzles solved, hints used, journal entries found, endings reached and play time
- Daily mystery history: which daily puzzles you solved, the date, attempts and hints used, and your streak
- Achievements and statistics
- Settings: sound, music and volume, haptics, reduced motion, text size, high-contrast hotspots, and the optional daily reminder and its time
Information we collect
We don’t collect, receive, sell or share any personal information. One Room Left has no user accounts, no servers, no advertising, and no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools. The game doesn’t send any information over the internet. NinjaNext can’t see your progress.
Notifications
If you turn on the optional daily mystery reminder, the game asks for permission to show notifications and schedules the reminder locally on your device. No push service is used and nothing is sent off your device. You can turn the reminder off at any time in the game’s Settings or in your device settings.
Permissions
The game doesn’t request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files. Notification permission is requested only if you turn on the daily reminder. Haptic feedback (vibration) can be turned off in Settings.
Data retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can:
- Reset all progress in the game’s Settings
- Clear the app’s storage in your device settings
- Uninstall the game, which removes its stored data
Because your progress exists only on your device, deleting it is permanent unless your device’s own backup includes it. We can’t recover it for you.
Children
One Room Left is intended for players aged 13 and over. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, for example because an optional feature is added, we’ll update this page and the effective date. Any feature that would send data off your device would be optional, off by default, and would ask for your consent first.
